5 of my Favourite Beauty Products for Under £10

If you’re anything like me, you love a bit of drugstore make-up. Don’t get me wrong, I love to splash out on a more expensive product now and then, but the majority of my everyday make-up comes from Superdrug or Boots. Although, I’ve heard Boots is starting to stock so many more brands, including MAC, so is the UK finally getting a Sephora-like shop!?

I know when I walk into Boots, there’s often so much to choose from that I get a bit lost looking for new bits. I love to browse, but if I know I just need a mascara, I tend to head straight for my regular choice and that’s it.

I’d love to know what else is good so I can head for that and give it a go too. So, I thought I’d list my top 5 drugstore beauty products so if you’re in the same boat as me, you have a few more ideas for bits and pieces to try. And an added bonus, they’re all £10 or under!

Aussie Smooth Hair Oil Lightweight Treatment – £9.99

I don’t often see people include hair products in these sorts of posts, but I get all my haircare from the drugstore. Aussie is my go-to brand. I recently tried a few different brands but my hair DID NOT like the change, so I went straight back to Aussie. Their Miracle Moisture range is my favourite, but I thought I’d try a few of their oils too. I’ve been through a whole bottle of this now and repurchased recently. My hair is quite thick and has a bit of a wave to it so it often ends up quite frizzy; this product is so good for combating that.

L’Oreal Infallible Magic Setting Spray Mist – £9.99

I’ve tried a few drugstore setting sprays but this is my absolute favourite. As I use it so often, I don’t like to get a more high-end setting spray – I can’t justify spending so much something I have to repurchase so often! I can really notice a difference to my make-up when I use this; my foundation and eyeshadow stays in place and it takes much longer for my lipstick to wear.

L’Oreal Paris Infallible Priming Base – £8.99

Like the setting spray, as I use it most days, I opt for the more affordable choices for primer. I like to go for the matte option as my t-zone gets pretty oily throughout the day and this helps to keep that under control. Again, I can notice a difference when I don’t use this, especially with my foundation; it wears a lot quicker without it.

Maybelline Colour Sensational Matte Lipstick in Nude Embrace – £6.99

This is my perfect nude lipstick! As much as I love my MAC Velvet Teddy, I was looking for something more brown-toned and this is the best I’ve found. I think it’s a great product for the price; its the perfect nude for my skin tone, it’s a brilliant matte but pairs well with a gloss and it lasts well.

Maybelline Colour Sensational Matte Lipstick in Orange Danger – £6.99

Unfortunately, I can’t find this online anywhere, even though I only got it recently. I was on the hunt for a coral and orange toned lipstick for summer and this was perfect! Again, the price is incredible for the product. This colour really pops and has become a staple for summer – on the few occasions I’ve been able to go out to show it off! This range has so many colours and I’ve started collecting some of my faves.

What are you loving at the moment? Have you tried any of these? Anything you love that I should try?
