One of the many things that are different about Christmas this year (is it just me or have you heard this phrase about a hundred times recently?) is that in person Christmas parties are a no-go. I went to my first office Christmas party last year and I’m sad there isn’t going to be one this year. I love a festive get together to toast the season, and I love finding an outfit for it.
However, for some, the Christmas party is going ahead, whether it’s one with friends or a work affair, it’s just online instead! So, I thought I’d put together a post of outfit ideas for an online Christmas party – and the beauty of it? They’re all top-half only, with a few dresses thrown in there! So you can wear your joggers on the bottom to keep comfy and cosy if you want – who would know!? And no painful feet from heels! Maybe we should do it like this every year…
These items are mostly from ASOS – and they have a sale on at the moment so snatch up anything you like quick before it goes!

Because if you can’t go a bit extra and cover yourself in glitter at Christmas, when can you!?
2. ASOS DESIGN glitter mesh long sleeve bodysuit in black

Simple black numbers to keep it understated.
3. ASOS DESIGN black v neck satin cami top with ruched front
4. Pieces organza top with puff sleeves and diamante button back detail in black

Go full festive with red tops.
5. Flounce London Club satin cami top in red
6. ASOS DESIGN plunge body in sequin

And just in case you’re looking for a dress…
7. ASOS DESIGN long sleeve mini wrap dress in red
8. Influence high neck mini dress with tie waist in star print
Are you doing any online Christmas gatherings this year? Are you dressing up or going cosy?
I love both of the dresses at the end. I am really missing getting dressed up this year.
We were having a zoom quiz at work but too many people are off ill so we have had to postpone it sadly. I’ll just be at home in my Christmas PJ’s I reckon.
Lovely glam choices though x x

It’s sad that we can’t meet up with people and dress up this year! I have a skirt I’d have LOVED to wear but maybe next year. These are all great picks!

These are great choices and even though you can’t dress up and go out it’s still good to have some dressy choices for other years 🙂

This are some great options. I think I’d probably go for a dress as I’d be worried that I’d get up to grab something and show my pj bottoms off.

No Christmas gatherings where I live are allowed, but I think dressing up for Zoom calls is absolutely a must to make the season more festive! Thanks for sharing!

They’re not where I am either, but I’ve had a few online Christmas gatherings and I felt so much better once I’d made a bit of effort and dressed up a little bit!
