If you’re anything like me, the current social distancing measures in the UK have meant that my loungewear has been getting more use than ever – and it was pretty well-loved before! What are jeans again?
As I’ve been spending 100% of my time in my comfies (joggers for work, then straight back into my PJs), I thought I’d share all my current faves. I feel like I’ve been preparing for this kind of post my whole life. It’s a running joke among my family and friends that once I’m home, I cannot stay in my work clothes – they laugh about how quick I transform from work-chic to ready-to-roll-into-bed. So trust me, I’ve really tried and tested all sorts of comfy clothes and this list feels like the best of the best.
I always keep my loungewear affordable – no one’s going to see it so why splash out! – but if you prefer to spend a little more or a little less, a lot of my faves have both more spenny and cheaper alternatives.
If you’re looking for some cosy loungewear for now and when everything goes back to normal, hopefully this list can give you some inspo!

Topshop Petite Classic Grey 90’s Oversized Joggers – £23 (currently in the sale!)
I’m pretty sure Topshop do joggers like these in regular and tall as well as petite but as I’m 5’2, the petite option was the one for me. These are the cosiest pair of joggers I’ve ever owned and I wear them so much I have two pairs so I don’t have to wait for them to go through the wash. They’re the perfect colour to go with almost everything I own and as they’re high-waisted, they look so flattering with cropped tops or tucked in tees so you feel styled as well as comfy. The only thing I would say is prepare for fluff on your socks!
Calvin Klein Icon Logo Legging from ASOS – £18
These are such a simple piece but always make me feel like I’ve made an effort. They’re so stretchy that I don’t feel like I’m wearing anything at all – perfect for when I’m sat at home working at my desk all day! They’re quite pricey for what are essentially grey leggings – they were a Christmas treat – so I’m sure there are cheaper alternatives, but I find that they’re an essential loungerwear piece.

New Look Lettuce Edge Ribbed Long Sleeve Top in White – £7.99 on ASOS
A basic white top is a must for my loungewear collection! Before I got this one, I actually didn’t have a plain white top so when I went looking, I decided to get one with a bit of extra detail. The lettuce edge collar and sleeves make the outfit look a little more put together – it jazzes up what is essentially just a white top and joggers!
ASOS Design Scoop Front and Back Crop Top – £4.00 (currently in the sale!)
As well as a basic long sleeve top, I like a basic cropped tee too! This isn’t the exact one I have – mine is from Primark ages ago – but I feel like it’s most definitely a wardrobe staple. They make high-waisted joggers or leggings look that little bit more flattering, and they’re comfy, too! Although I don’t think you should care about how you look when chilling in the house, I always feel that little bit better when I know I have a cute outfit on.
ASOS Design Chunky Cardigan with Ribbed Sleeve – £30
I couldn’t find my exact cardigan anywhere, and I didn’t even buy it that long ago, but I thought this one looked nice. A cosy cardi is a great piece to add to your loungewear collection. I love to pair mine with leggings and a crop top and roll the sleeves up a little – cute and comfy! I love anything that makes me feel like I’m wrapped up in a blanket when I’m not in bed!
I hope this post gave you a little bit of inspiration for cute outfits to wear whilst you’re staying at home! I’m wearing this kind of stuff pretty much every day so if you want to see how I’ve styled it, have a look on my insta as I’m sure I’ll have featured it there!
