My Favourite Festive Films | Blogmas Day 11

Welcome to Day 11 of Blogmas!

Sorry this post is late – I’ve been so busy with Uni deadlines!

Today, I wanted to talk about my favourite Christmas films! For me, during the festive period, there’s nothing nicer than snuggling up under a blanket with the Christmas tree lights on and watching a Christmas film.

Admittedly, I’ve actually been watching Christmas films for a couple of months now. They always get me in the festive spirit and make me feel so cosy. I’m sure loads of people love these ones too, so please let me know if you do!

Of course! Who doesn’t love Elf!? I can’t believe I actually only discovered this one a few years ago but ever since I did, I’ve watched it so many times each year. I always aspire to be as excited for Christmas as Buddy and there’s no better way to feel festive than watching this film.

Arthur Christmas

Another great one! I didn’t think I’d like this when I first saw it was on Netflix but I absolutely love it! As well as making me feel festive, it also makes me laugh so much! I think it’s incredibly funny and it’s such a sweet film, too.

The Holiday

I think some people forget this one as it’s mostly Christmassy at the end but I just love it! It’s such a cosy film and you’re rooting for both the couples and their happiness and that ending! What a lovely ending – it makes it the perfect, cosy Christmas film.

Love Actually

Perhaps my favourite one? Although I wouldn’t like to pick just one! This is the Christmas film that I’ve been watching for years and years and I always know it’s Christmas when I’ve seen Love Actually. I usually watch this with my mum and I can’t do Christmas without watching Hugh Grant dance down the stairs!

That concludes my favourite Christmas films! I have few others that I watch throughout the festive period but these are my main ones! If you have any other recommendations, I’d love to hear them!
