I feel like my posts are so autumn themed at the moment and to be honest, I love it. I feel like winter and Christmas is fast approaching so I’m making the most out of this season, even if it means every post I write includes some sort of autumnal element!
I’ve never really done a style post before but after a recent purchase, I felt that there was absolutely no way I couldn’t feature it on my blog!
For months, I’d been on the lookout for the perfect denim jacket to take me through autumn and winter. I finally found one I loved in Topshop but it was £45 and being at Uni, although I had the money, I just couldn’t justify buying it.
A few weeks later, I noticed a huuuuge sale in Topshop and I went in and found a slightly different denim jacket in the sale… for £25… AND had student discount, too! I ended up getting this jacket for £22 down from £49! Trust me, I’ve been telling everyone about this – I still can’t believe I managed to find one so discounted!
Since I bought it, I’ve worn it literally everyday. With everything. A denim jacket really has been my autumn wardrobe staple this year and I had to document it.
Mine has elbow rips which I wasn’t sure of at first but now, I love them and think it adds so much to just a normal denim jacket!
The way I usually like to style this is with a cute jumper, black jeans and usually some Converse! I’ve been absolutely loving mustard and purple at the moment which go so well with my jacket. Although I mostly wear it with jeans, I’m excited to bring it into winter with some burgundy skirts, black tights and boots and dresses, too!
If you’re interested, you can find it here. If you’re not too keen on the elbow rips, Topshop has so many other jackets available which are all great, too!
I hope you enjoyed my first style post! I’d love to feature more fashion posts and maybe I’ll do my winter wardrobe stable, too. Let me know what your autumn wardrobe staple is and if you have any other tips on styling a denim jacket, especially one with pretty significant elbow rips, please let me know!
